Background and the solution that did not work

I have another machine dedicated to OpenBSD now and I’m not using the Slackware that is dual-booted with XP on our family computer and wish to delete the Linux partition and merge it back to Windows.

First thing I did was create a bootable XP USB drive using Novicorp’s WinToFlash app. It managed to create a bootable XP (I’ll create a how to for that later) but the Windows FIXMBR and/or FIXBOOT command on the Recovery Console failed to delete the LILO bootloader from the harddisk’s MBR. After running FIXMBR/FIXBOOT, I restarted the computer and it still showed the Slackware/LILO boot prompt. Read More »

Windows Vista/7: Enable hidden Administrator account

Open CMD with Administrator privileges.

To enable the account:

net user administrator /active:yes

I’m thinking of getting into PSEi (PCOMP:IND) but people say it’s not comparable to US no load Index Fund in terms of fees. Have to do more research on that.
